What would happen if the Earth ever crashed into the Sun?
The Earth would vaporize
We'd all be dead before we knew anything had happened.
There would likely be some small disruptions to the orbits of Venus and Mars but not enough to lose much sleep over.
A few of our spacecraft would go into “loss-of-signal” mode and try to communicate back to us with increasing degrees of ‘fallback’…they’d eventually shut down.
Radio signals from the invention of radio until the final panicked cries of a dying civilization would spread outwards at the speed of light gradually becoming more and more feint and impossible to receive.
Most of our spacecraft would eventually be destroyed by meteors and other unfortunate events.
In the end, two Voyager probes plus the New Horizons spacecraft would be the sole remaining proof that we ever existed.
Nobody would ever find them they are far too small and insignificant.
