What is worm hole in space, what causes a wormhole in space

Warm hole is a very interesting and an eerie concept not only to me rather to the entire science community across the globe.

It fascinates me a lot and put me into a bewilderment whenever I think about this not-so-hypothetical concept.

Wormholes are also known as Einstein-Rosen bridge.

Worm hole is basically like a connection between two places or dimensions. Think about it as a door way which connects two ends.

A worm hole is a gateway or portal in the region of space and time. After Einstein’s theory of general and special relativity it is known that time is relative, not absolute.

Existence of worm holes has often led to the argument between scientists.

Though many physicists believe in these funnel like features, the place of their existence is yet a mystery.

Many scientists believe they are out there in the outer space while other base their work on worm holes being constantly appearing and disappearing on the Planck scale.

It can act with space and time. According to Einstein space is so real. It can bend, twist or fluctuate.

Theoretically, they can exist independent of a Black Hole but in a region where spacetime is folded up on itself.

We’ve never found a wormhole. But it’s certainly possible that they are out there, and there just isn’t much to see.

The only observable indicator of a wormhole would be its effect on light passing near it.

Traversable wormholes

After their existence the next challenge is their stability. As long as the worm holes are not stabilized they cannot be accessed to travel, which often leads to their collapse.

A wormhole within a black hole couldn’t go anywhere. Since even light cannot escape its massive gravitational pull, any wormhole within the event horizon of a black hole would be invisible to us, and visiting it would be deadly.

We all know that we live in 3D world. We can see the length, height and depth.

But besides these three dimensions there is also a 4th dimension (actually there is 11th dimensions in space. 10 dimensions and 1 special dimension. These are called parallel universe. But in here we will discuss only about the 4th dimension).

Then where is the 4th dimension?

Why we couldn’t see that?

Actually we couldn’t see it. We can only feel it in mathematics equation. In general the 4th dimension is Time.

But why are we discussing about time?

That is because only the time (4th dimension) can take us to worm holes.

For a moment just take a look on your surroundings. You can see all of the things you got.

In lightly you can see many things as a plane surface. e.g your laptop, table, books, even your handset are all made of plane surface.

But if you see it in a microscopic level, i.e if you zoom it infinitely (lesser than the length of an atom) under a powerful microscope then you will see many holes in there.

That means everything in this world is made of these small holes.

There is nothing in this universe which has not these holes. So time is also made of such infinitely small holes which are actually worm holes.

These holes open in our present state and in the other side it open in past or future state. Or it can join with the another dimension.

But these worm holes are too small to use it. It’s length is may be too small than an atom. Again these worm holes are too unstable.

It opens only for 1/10,000 times of 1 sec. Then think about it, if one discover a worm hole which is much bigger, it won’t allow a person or a space ship enter through it.

It will disappear instantly less than in a second after birth.

So now scientists are trying to creat such worm holes which will be stable and so big so that a space ship or a person can enter through it.

If such worm holes are created then it would be possible not only travel through time but also a distance of many many light years.

But we should be aware so that no accidents can happen. Because traveling through a worm hole may be too challenging for us.

It may be possible that we all would be busy in traveling through the worm hole and never can appear in the other side.

In such situation the astronauts may suffer in such place where space and time does not remain stable. Then they may be disappear inside the worm hole forever.

So for now, it is tough to create a worm hole. But I am not saying that it is impossible. May be in near future it will happen.
