Dysmenorrhoea means that there are two types of pain during periods, one is primary dysmenorrhea and the other is secondary dysmenorrhea.
The pain in primary dysmenorrhea starts when your periods are about to start, it starts a day or two before and then gets better in two or three days.
In secondary dysmenorrhea, your periods start normally and then become very painful later, then it is called secondary dysmenorrhea.
There is a lot of pain, white water, excessive discharge, pain in thighs and waist, nausea, dizziness, upset stomach, nervousness etc.
The reason for this is endometriosis, lump in the uterus, swelling of the uterus, infection etc.
